Hi.

I’m looking to buy a Vero 4k. Have been using an old android box but that has failed now, been trying to replace it, but am struggling to find something that’ll do what i need.

I use it mainly to access videos on my external hard drives using Kodi normally to play back. All 3 are formatted using ExFAT, 2 are 7200rpm 4TB and 1 is 5600rpm 5TB. My old Android box accessed and played them fine but replacements i’ve tried simply won’t access ExFat, or can’t access 5TB drives.

Will the Vero 4K be able to access these? i really don’t want to buy another box only to have to send it back again unsuccessfully.

Any Pi or Vero operating under OSMC should be able to access files in a ExFat filesystem.

I can’t imagine what limitation that would be. AFAIK if a device supports exFAT it supports any size drive that exFAT supports.
