The banner displayed on the forum is quite malicious. I clicked it by accident with my iPhone and the web site behind it tries to infect the phone. It displays pop ups, is very difficult to close and tries to install software.
What indication do you have that it’s infecting the phone? And with what?
It pretends the what’s app app is outdated and tries to make you accept to update it through a pop up. Then is stated your phone has been infected and tries to make you install a fix for that.
The page displays a pop up immediately after loading, making it very hard to close the browser session without pressing ok in the pop up.
I’ve alerted our web dev folks to have a look. Thanks

I have had a look. The good news is the as does not seem to install software on your phone. It just gives the illusion that it has.
Unfortunately, we cannot vet every ad. I have tried to remove it now.
