Hi,

Is the mentioned package the same as the cli one or does it have / gives more functionality? Is it better to install that instead of the plain cli version?

Or is it being tested to be added as an optional app in the store?

It’s a meta-package that depends on mediainfo.
It exists purely to allow inclusion in App Store later.
