Could you expand a little more please.
Also, please include debug logs.
If you’re referring to brief glitches/dropouts occurring periodically in Airplay audio (Airtunes) - this is a known issue in Kodi that affects Kodi on all platforms, not just on OSMC or even just on the Raspberry Pi.
I also see this issue sending audio from my iPad 3 to a Mac Mini running Kodi, and this issue has been there for as long as I’ve been using Kodi/XBMC. (Nearly 2 years)
I’ve raised the issue on the kodi.tv forum a couple of times in the last year but the devs who maintain Airplay support in Kodi are not able to reproduce the problem themselves so no progress has been made on finding a solution.
The issue seems to be much worse if there is any packet loss or packet delay on the wifi network - I find it particularly bad on my iPad 3 but it hardly happens at all on an iPad mini with retina or my iPhone 6.
If I am in the same room as the base station I hardly ever see the issue, it mainly occurs in rooms further from the base station, and more often if I am holding the device.
If this is the same issue you’re seeing I suggest you report it on the kodi.tv forum.
Well,
thanks for your help.
so, no Airplay, no wifi but just CPL.
My PI2 take music from my ethernet lan disk (seagate).
no idea…
@CaNsA :do you read my log? have you see something?
That log is huge… 7MB huge…
Reboot the pi, try airplay, when it starts to skip/cut out stop it, upload the log to http://paste.osmc.tv.
Thanks.
@CaNsA : why do you want i try AIRPLAY?
i don’t need AIRPLAY to play my music on my lan disk…i use ethernet (CPL)
don’t read all the LOG. i stop the LOG as soon as the problem appears. so, read the end of the LOG.
