Movie and TV scrapers broken

Hi

I’m still running OSMC 18.9 on a Pi 2 which up until now has been working fine until recently when I noticed scraping via The Movie Database has stopped working.

I thought the API has probably changed or something, although curiously one of the requests that apparently returns empty results is:

https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=f090bb54758cabf231fb605d3e3e0468&query=Up&year=2009&language=en

which I can grab via curl quite happily from the Pi.

Fixed it by installing and using “The Movie Database Python” and “TMDb TV Shows” scrapers.

Is it possible to remove the “broken” scrapers? There doesn’t appear to be an option in the UI, and when I tried manually deleting the plugins from the .kodi directory, they were listed with “Update available” against them after I rebooted :thinking:

Those XML scrapers are exceptionally old, and they were removed in newer versions of Kodi. With Kodi 18, they were still part of the core build and are in the repo for that version of Kodi. There’s not really a practical way to delete them.
