New Vero 4K - OSMC Update Error - Error Installing

Hi,

I got a Vero 4K today, it seems to be running OSMC July 2017 2017.07-1

I went to try to manually update it, and after attempting to download some files, it pops up the below message:

OSMC Update Error
Error installing:

Please report this in the OSMC forum

I’d appreciate any help as I’m totally new to the device.

Your device is running a very old version of OSMC. Updating from that is no longer supported. Have a look here Reinstalling OSMC - Vero 4K - OSMC and come back if you need some help with that.

July 2017 is extremely old, and based on Debian Jessie. I’d recommend reinstalling.
