Try to explain a bit more, e.g. which sound output are you using and have you tried to change the volume in Kodi? Also provide some logs.

If you have a red circle with a speaker in the middle and a slash through it in the upper right corner the sound is muted if you have a keyboard hooked up to it hit the f10 button
Should be F8

F10 will work if you are muted or the volume is turned all the way down.
