No sound on files with AAC codec

Hi, i don’t know if the problem is since the may update because i don’t have seen this TV Show for a while but files with AAC audio codec i get the video but no audio signal.

here is a log of MediaInfo

Other Seasons that are using Dolby i have no problem, and i know all of them worked properly before but not sure if the problem is since may update or not.

How is your audio configured?

from vero2 with hdmi to a denon x1100w AVR.

Settings in kodi are dolby and dts enabled and passthrough is also enabled.

if i switch to internal audio from tv no problem.

I am not sure what you mean by this.

You may wish to enable AC3 transcoding.

yeah i have enabled ac3 encoding and dts, also enabled passthrough on vero2.

Can you produce a debug log which may give some insight?

I figured out why i got no sound on the named files… as i can’t see my AVR in the sound settings and no HDMI option i selected AML-M8AUDIO, Analog because i haven’t connected the vero2 to an optical output what i thought (s/pdif) was meant.

now i found in the forum that someone asked about not seeing his AVR and u told him to set to S/PDIF as it is passthrough, and i tried this. Now the files have sound :slight_smile:

Maybe i am not as technical as i should be :smiley:

so i can close this thread now.
