Kodi freezes for me every other day and I have to reboot the Vero. Have you seen anything useful from the logs I posted before?
Now after the last freeze that occurred today I had to sudo reboot 4 times before I could get into Kodi. The other times I just got a black screen after the OSMC splash-screen. Also, the sound output was changed to analogue instead of SPDIF after the successful reboot.

Kodi on my Vero still freezes about once a day at different times when idle. I always discover it when I power on my TV for using my TV in the evening. This after applying the wget http://paste.osmc.io/raw/gexocugima -O- | sudo sh .
Also get black screen often when I try to reboot right after the OSMC splash screen.
I provided logs over a week ago but haven’t heard any response.
Well. I got asked before in this thread if I was using the default resolution/refresh.
I thought I did, but when I looked again I was on 23.98Hz for the GUI.
After I changed to 50Hz I have experienced no freezes of Kodi. (knock on wood).

I could use some sugestions, at least on how can I provide more info to help you find this problem. @sam_nazarko? @DBMandrake?
This problem is penalizing my VERO experience heavily. Should I reinstall VERO from scratch? Is an update handling these issues coming soon? What is your feedback on this?
Thank you very much for your attention on these issues.
We have resolved the SPDIF issue, but as you know, there is a bug with freezes. We now think we know what this is and are working on fixing that. Once these two issues are fixed, we will release an update with Kodi 15.1 (the OSMC August update). I suspect this will be ready in a couple of days, and should definitely be released before the weekend
Thank you very much for your prompt feedback @sam_nazarko.
Hope to have these issues solved soon, as currently they are the only snags on my VERO experience.
Just one remark tough. As I recall, just a few days prior to the August update, something happened causing my skin’s (AEON Nox 5) settings to get lost. I had to reconfigure VERO from scratch, and by doing that, even with the same settings, the DD and DTS sound was working.
It is not the first time that a reset of the VERO’s settings to their factory defaults gets some issues fixed.
