No source.xml file

I’m trying to download audio/video files directly from the Yatse controller app in my android device, but when I hit download it give me the 'HTTP error: 401 - Unauthorized" message. Been reading and tells me to edit the sources.xml file but when I try to look for it, it’s not in the userdata. Is there a way to get it?

sorry me but i don’t have understand how you trying to do. You try to download audio/video files from what ?

From Yatse, it’s a Kodi remote for android devices.

Let’s not go too far away. Using the web interface I can’t download music nor video. It gives me a 'File not found" message, the same with videos

Update: enabled the debug mode and these lines pop up

I’d suggest that you take this up with the Yatse developers. It’s trying to access files in you addons directory.

This message appears when trying to download from the chorus web interface

Could you tell us exactly what you’re trying to do on the Chorus interface? (I assume you’re using Chorus2)

Do you have a username/password enabled for HTTP control under System > Service settings > Control?

Select a file (video or audio) select the three dots menu and click download. A new window opens with the text “File not found”. I can’t stream videos nor music neither. Indeed, using chorus 2

I have the default username/password which is kodi. Disabled authentication but the message remains.

Got it. I tried to download a music file in Chorus2 but got a different problem, probably because all my music and videos are on Emby.

I think it’s fair to say that this is a Kodi issue and as such you might have a better chance of resolving the issue there.
