No wifi access with Raspberry Pi zero w

I cannot get the rpi0w to work with thr built in wifi. Ive tried updating but no luck. Is this a common issue and is there a solution?

WiFi should work.

Could you describe the problem in more detail? What have you tried?

Ultimately, we’ll probably need logs. That will require either an ethernet connection or an attached USB keyboard (which will probably need a micro-USB adapter).
