Official OSMC remote - do they come supplied on unique channels or codes?

Hi everyone
I recently bought the official OSMC remote control for use with one of my Pi systems upstairs. I now want to use the same remote on my Pi system downstairs, but would like to purchase a separate remote for it. I’m worried that the second remote may affect the system upstairs, unless each is supplied on a unique channel or ID. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? I can’t see anyway obvious with the OSMC official remote to change its remote ID or identifier.

They are uniquely paired to each dongle at time of manufacture.
They will not overlap, even if they are operated within close proximity of each other.
