Osmc hacked?

Hi!
I’m using a raspberry pi3 b and osmc. For 24h, when I watch an episode, there is some text displayed after the name of the episode:
"><script>alert(I'm watching you')</script>

What is that? Do you think I have been hacked?
I’ve always updated my osmc, but last time, when I tried, it didn’t work out, my system has rebooted and displayed me an error meaning the update did not went well. Do you think it could be linked?

Thanks!

That normally only can happen if you open your device to the internet (e.g. SSH forward) and have not secured the device (e.g. change password, change port and enable key based authentication.

This could come if you have installed any of the non official repositories/addons. But a clean reinstall might be the safest option.

There is always an risk when installing 3rd party repositories, been reported on several times by Kodi and Torrentfreak so if you got 3rd party repos do as @fzinken said and reinstall cause OSMC isnt responsible for your actions when installing these repositories and often you dont get support either…

Kind of vague, so hard to say what it is.

Could also be data corruption or library pharsing error.
Looks like some xml/html gets parsed wrong.

Edit: OK, sorry. Got that wrong. Hacked or piracy addon.
