Would strongly advice against the current Alexa implementation for a more secure implementation that doesn’t require you to open ports. Finding Kodi Machines is as easy as a google search on shodan.io then its fairly straight forward for the attacker to go to town.
On mac there is an app called ransomwhere that makes any program ask if they may encrypt. Is there anything on Nas like that?
yes Q-Snatch and its tearing thru the Qnap community since most users open up to much, and there are other for D-Link etc.
