I was thinking of using my raspberry pi 3 as a streaming device for my home. The thing is i’ve used kodi on xbox and it is really bad and not sure about if having an app on my smart tv for kodi is possible so i wanted to dedicate my RPi for this since its just without any use at the moment.
So basically I want to have the RPi with osmc in my room but also be able to use it on my newer smart tv in my living room without having two hdmi cables going around my whole house.
I thought about using ssh to login into it but thats just a lot of hastle for entering username password everytime on my smart tv if that was possible but not 100% sure if that would do the job.
So my question is if theres a feature in osmc to allow me to access my raspberry pi over my network without having to pull hdmi cable across my whole house to get it running on the newer smart tv in my living room
