OSMC read from miniDLNA

I Installed miniDLNA on a BananPI, ist runs fine, statistic look good.
I Installes SOMC on RASPI3, seams to run fine too.

Adding via networks I can browse for my miniDLNA and can add it, but I can any of the pictures or music on the miniDLNA.

The OSMC is a fresh up to date install, do I perhaps have to install any add on.

I am quite good on Debian and other Linux and the RASPIs and PC Plattforms, but I am new to OSMC. The documentation ist poor, Google find anything to install OSMC but nothing to for working with. Search the FAQs and and some other sources, but could not find some thing meaningfull.

i’am a little bit further. If I select via UPNP, I can browse and add folders, I see Picture Icons and can get the picture information, but if I click on the icon I have only a black screen, Creating thumbnails, does nothing, diashow black screen, what du I miss

Google research say pictures can not be seen via UPNP, kodi problem
will try, SMB od NFS

There seams to be some general problems, as I have the same results in my kodi instalation on OS X el Capitan.

  1. Conect via UPNP can browse pictures, can get infos, but not generarting thumbnails or see pictures
  2. Connect via NFS can not browse subdirectories
  3. Connect SMB password not accepted, not stored

Maybe for NFS or SMB my miniDLNA Installation is not correct, but then there ist still the problem wit UPNP connection.

I have no further Idea

Solved, but do no ask me why, just added a TSOP4838 LIRC today to use my remote control from iPod. Just connect the pins to 3,3V, GND and GPIO18 (PI Pin12) and select the appropriate rc. Testing it, my pictures are shown via UPNP. Is it possible it needs so long to actualize his DB, do not know
