Hi there! I’m a newbie. I got everything running the way i want it except for wake on lan. I try to go into OSMC options from the gui, but everything is blank. Is there a way I can SSH in and turn on WOL? That is if the option is available. I tried searching the forums, but haven’t had any luck.
We’re going to ask for patience re: OSMC settings addon. It’s working without issue on internal test builds.
As far as WOL, for waking your remote storage? Or for waking the pi? Because Pi has no ability to be woken by lan.
Not a problem. I can wait. As for WOL between storage and the Pi i’m not sure the difference. Like i said I’m a newbie. Right now I have to unplug/plug the device. If i can just leave it on without things going awry I’ll be fine. i just thought there was a WOL options.
My Rpi, Rpi2 and 2 servers are powered up 24/7.
There’s nothing to worry about when leaving a Rpi/Rpi2 on all the time.

Our Release Candidate is now out and should fix up the My OSMC addon quite nicely.
I don’t think we’ve implemented a Wake on LAN feature yet however, but I do believe Kodi has some support for this (it’s available in the xbmc-send API for instance)
