OSMC won't update via Settings Plugin

System: Raspberry Pi 2

I tried (several times) to update OSMC via the OSMC Settings Plugin. Install fails and tells me to report this to the forum, which I do now.

Here are the debug logs:

Unfortunately it looks from your logs that you have significant filesystem corruption:

What make and model is your SD card ? It’s quite possible you are being affected by a known file system corruption issue that is currently affecting certain make/models of SD cards, only on the Pi 2:

The good news is that a fix for this problem is nearly ready and should make it into RC3, the bad news is that because you have file system corruption to the point where upgrades are failing you really need to do a fresh install after RC3 comes out as there is no way to know what else may be corrupted.

Edit: I should probably add that a faulty SD card is also a possibility.

How far along is RC3? I mean should I do a fresh install of RC2 while waiting or is it just around the corner? I am away from home for two days so I won’t do anything before Sunday.

This is the SD Card that is in use:
SanDisk SDSDQUN-016G-FFP-A Ultra Android 16GB microSDHC UHS-I Class 10

@DBMandrake Just a sidenote: I’ve seen the answer in the other thread, but a quick reference would have been appreciated. Cheers!

RC3 updates for existing systems have been released (with the exception of a kernel update for vero which is still being finalised) but new RC3 images have not been released yet. Not far away now.
