I had seen a reference to it before but can’t find it now. Is there a way to stop the system from rewriting the “dtparam=gpio_in_pin=26” entry back to GPIO pin 18 after an update or after entering the configuation utility.
If pin 26 isn’t considered a valid entry maybe it isn’t possible?

I also think it adds the line for HDMI hotplug too which is an issue if you use the composite video as system will default to HDMI video.
