Pi2 Not suspending TV on screensaver

I’ve recently upgrade from raspbmc on my Pi model B to osmc on a Raspberry Pi 2.

One the whole everything is working really well and I’m super happy, thanks for all the hard work.

One thing that I’m struggling with is shutting down my TV over CEC when the Pi screen saver turns on. I’ve made sure that the setting on osmc are the same as my existing settings but the tv doesn’t get put into standby - any suggestions?

  • I’m using the same TV and the CEC settings are unchanged.
  • I’ve confirmed that the powermanagement section in /home/osmc/.kodi/userdata/guisettings.xml match those from my raspbmc config
  • I’ve confirmed that the settings in /usr/share/kodi/system/peripherals.xml matches those of my raspbmc config (only a few differences with regards to double_tap_timeout_ms, button_repeat_rate_ms, button_release_delay_ms which should have no bearing on tv standby)

Any suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks.

This is possibily a bug and will possibly be resolved by a libCEC 3.x upgrade. If this is the case, you can expect this fixed within a couple of weeks

Thanks Sam, I’ll re-test it once the update lands.
