I ripped the file myself, to make sure, the encoding is not the issue.
File1: sd
File2: hd720
File3: hd1080
Hardware is a RPi2, running OSMC latest’s.
The SD file is running fine, from local and network location.
The HD files are no joy - they are not played.
If I install RASPBIAN and use omxplayer directly, the hd720 file working from network (and local), the hd1080 is working from a local path.
Question: can’t OSMC play HD videos or did I miss something ??

thank you for the quick reply.
I can assure you, it is not the file - just finished OpenELEC setup - the SD and HD720 is playing fine via netshare and the HD1080 via local path.
All that is in the log files is (basically), can’t play the file, with no reason given - going by the kernal log.
To exclude the network, I use a local usb stick, we can exclude this as well - WireShark also told me, there is no WiFi trouble.
I tried HW-accelaration on / off - no impact.
Looks like, something is off with your latest build …
Afraid, as I have a running MC now (unfortunate not yours), I will stop here and finish the testing on the OpenELEC.
