Play music through lan

Hi everyone,
I am new at this osmc thing. It’s great so far and I have no problems but I wanted to ad an amazon music add-on and found out it is not possible due DRM. My question is: Is there any way to receive audio stream on osmc through wifi? If yes, would it be possible to play music on my pc (ubuntu 16.04) and send the stream to the osmc server? The configuration would be similar to a wifi speaker (osmc) which is connected to the pc.

Well OSMC/Kodi can easily play a stream you sent it from your PC, question is just how you can sent the stream from the PC. The easiest and most flexible way is VLC but not sure if you can get VLC to play your Amazon stream.
