Playing bd iso rips

I have some BD rips in .iso format. These play fine on my old Pi3 but when I try to play them on the Vero 4k nothing happens.No error but nothing plays either.

Am I missing something?

There will most certainly be an error. Enable debug logging, reboot, attempt to play, provide logs.

This is also broken on Raspberry Pi for new installations of Krypton, but I suspect the poster updated from Jarvis.

Fortunately it’s fixed in staging and will be released in tomorrow’s update
