Hi,
Yes, all logs here:

Is it possible to retrieve the update RC3 and put it in the SD card. then do the update locally ?
No you can’t download the update and put it on your SD card. Network connectivity is not the problem anyway.
I can’t see any recent attempts to run updates in the log file however as your Kodi log was not taken with debugging enabled I can’t tell for sure as debugging mode would have showed log entries from the OSMC updater.
We have seen a few instances of version 2.8.8 of the OSMC updater (which you currently have installed) crashing when trying to download updates, so my suggestion would be to run updates manually from ssh this time like so:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
If you see any errors when doing this please post the full apt session including the errors here. It’s normal for the screen to go blank during a manual update - when finished (assuming no errors) type reboot and you should be up to date, including a new version of the OSMC updater that should have this problem fixed.
I tried with SSH, and I had the same concern.
I found why I got this error. the wifi connection was very slow (2 kbps - 10k bps) and lost after a while.
I connected by wired without, and the update was carried out with succes.
