I am noticing that the PVR IPTV Simple Client is acting strangely lately. I have a new playlist with 5k+ links however the client only loads around 2100 of these. I am assuming that there is some hard limit on the number of channels the client can load. As these links increased, I could not load the “guide”. As soon as I press that menu option (or the Live TV option directly), OSMC seems to crash and I get the sad smiley screen. Thereafter, the system reboots automatically. I am assuming that the problem is related to the addon. Did anyone else experienced these issues and managed to fix them?
I also noticed that the addon available on the OSMC/Kodi system is an old one, some 1.x version. However, I saw that there is some updated version on GitHub, but I did not manage to build the addon myself and add it to the system. Is there a way how to do it?
I am using the latest updated version of OSMC, and a Raspberry Pi 3.
