Quite big issue with LiveTV

I was migrating my live TV to my new vero4K+. And i’m struggling.

Anytime i configure it (Tvheadend Kodi plugin / or simple Pvr plugin) the message saying channels are being refeshed is displayed and it stays forever.

if i ssh on the vero and look at the activity i can only see kodi.bin using 300% Cpu and the load raising to 3-4 … and if i let it like that. Cpus goes in throttling mode (662 Mhz) or i get sad face screen and it reboots.

My tvheadend server is on a dedicate server at home with only 350 channels.

There is no issue with the same server on other kodis at home (windows pc). I also tried simple pvr plugin and directly configuring the m3u file. It works on any machine but on the vero 4K it hangs forever on the refreshing channels and finishes by stucking the system.

I was on the 3D test build, so i tried to reinstall current stable build but samething happens.

If anyone can give me any advice on what to investigate. But i really tried anything

Hi,

Disable any iptv addons. Go to settings, live tv and clear data under general & guide.

Now enable TVHeadend HTSP Client, if the issue persists please provide logs:

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • enable component-specific logging for all components

  • enable event logging and notification event logging

  • reboot the OSMC device

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

Big thanks. Effectively cleaning the data under general and guide was the solution. Once done it took only 2 secondes to get all channels.

Something was probably stucking. If it happens again i will check in log. But it was definitively the solution. Unfortunately WE dont know why. But happyly the problem IS solved
Thanks
