R-Pi B Image not booting

Folks,

I’ve been successfully using RaspBMC on a number of R-Pi devices but am having trouble with installing OSMC.

I’ve used dd to write the RC and Alpha4 images to two different micro SD cards, neither will boot, both hang at the multi coloured screen.

gparted shows the disk 150.91MB FAT partition with the remainer of the disk unallocated.

Any pointers appreciated.

Please ensure you have downloaded the correct version of the image (there are separate images for Pi1 and Pi2)

Sam,

My apologies, I’ve recently bought a quad Pi and was running the two comparing which it does OK on the Raspian image.

Now realise, put microSD in quad Pi and it boots fine.
