Raspberry 3 and osmc // crashes

Hi guys,

i just installed osmc on my friends raspberry 3. Now the newer raspberry crashes very often. For example sometimes i try to login via ssh and the raspberry craches directly if i send an command like sudo apt-get update via terminal. I thinks that is very strange and i don’t get an idea where the problem comes from. The raspberry crashed also very often if you stream something from Kodi add ons. With my OSMC config from my raspberry 2 everything works fine. I installed OSMC 12.1.16 via Windows installer on the newer raspberry 3.

On the following link you can view the logs: http://paste.osmc.io/omitikozaj
Maybe someone knows an solution for me.
Thank you very much!

Can you please describe what actually happens when the Raspberry Pi “crashes”? Does it restart? Do you see the OSMC sad face? Or does it just freeze?

As you are having issues with add-ons that is the most likely cause, try running the following commands and retest:

mv /home/osmc/.kodi /home/osmc/kodi.bak
sudo reboot

If that resolves the issue re-add your add-ons one at a time until you find the one that causes the problem. If you need to get back to how you are now you can reverse the above by running:

rm -Rf /home/osmc/.kodi
mv /home/osmc/kodi.bak /home/osmc/.kodi
sudo reboot

Probably not causing any crash, but if this log is from Rpi3, change your overclock settings back to Normal. As you have it set now, you are underclocking your Pi.
