Raspberry with OSMC does not boot any more

Although we appreciate people contributing, in this particular instance you bumped a two year old thread to post a possible solution that is no longer relevant as that boot argument is already part of the OS. Also, you do not need a second computer to edit config.txt, as OSMC allows for that in both its add-on as well as via the terminal. A config.txt file getting “emptied” I don’t believe is a known issue with OSMC.
