Rbp2: Supported WIFI Chipsets after switch to kernel to 4.19

Hello all

I use a Raspberry Pi 2 for OSMC and therefore a USB WIFI Dongle is necessary.

It seems that since the switch to kernel to 4.19, the support for the rtl8192cu driver was dropped and therefore many popular WIFI dongles are not working anymore.
This includes my RTL8188CUS based dongle.

OK, i have to buy a new dongle.

But I can’t find a list of which chipsets or drivers are still supporteted now with kernel 4.19.
Can someone point me to the right direction?

Is the chipset RTL8188EUS still supported?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Michael

You could use the remote official Pi Wifi USB dongles or wait for us to re-add support for your dongle.
