TVHeadend back and front.
Been running well for a few months.
In the last couple of days when I try to play recorded TV it does not show the it on my TV but I can hear the sound. Sometimes it just shows a single frame of the recording fullscreen with the sound.
I can stop and start, but still the same.
Happens 99% of the time. No errors showing.
I have rebooted and restarted, tried updating etc. But still not working.
Some logs showing what happens when you try to play would be useful.
You could also copy one of the problem files to another system, if you have one, and try to play it there and also dump out the media info.
It could be that the recording process has not gone well - so check the logs for TVHeadend as well.

I’ve had to reinstall as it was not updating. A bit of a process but all done now and fixed the problem.
