I´m sorry to bother… but I just give up.
I didn´t use my Vero V for a while and now after I tried
to play something again my remote didn´t work.
Original remote that came with the Vero without a dongle.
I reinstalled everything as a last resort (changed 4 Batteries, rotated them etc.)
When I press Home+OK the Light stays solid Blue and nothing happens.
Even now after I reinstalled everything, at the Install screen where it asks to pair the
Remote… nothing happens when I try to pair the thing.

I hope somebody can help me. CEC works though.
You might need a replacement receiver.

Is that a more common thing now on vero v devices ? I was thinking to get one but after reading some threads i think i better wait till there is a better receiver solution implemented in new vero V devices.

Not madly. We have just sold a lot more Vero V devices than previous models.
As you can imagine people don’t really post here unless there’s a problem.
Failure rate is still about 2 in 1000 over 18 months.

Do I have to take that one out for the new one to work or can I just
plug in the new one?
You can just plug the new one in. There is an internal one but unless you need both USBs it’s easier to plug in the replacement and not have to open the device
