RPi 3 Green Light Flashing on Dec2018 Update

Hi,

I just updated from October 2018 to December 2018 update on my RPi3 and have noticed the green light flashing continuously whilst it didn’t beforehand. As far as I can tell the system is still working as it was before the update.

Is this normal/expected?

I’ll answer my own question in case it helps anyone else - for some reason CEC was on. The monitor doesn’t support CEC and the file kodi.log at /home/osmc/.kodi/temp was filling up with messages every few seconds to report an associated error.

Disabled ‘CEC Adapter’ in Settings->System->Input->Peripherals and no more flashy green light and 200Mb log files.
