Sad face cycle on Vero 4k +

I’m getting a sad face crash around 30 secs after the interface loads. I’ve had on and off issues like this, but not really spent the time to get to the bottom of it.

It had gone away after I disabled a number of plugins (was using IPTV, Hue plugins), but has since come back.

Most recently, I switched routers and my NAS picked up a new IP. After editing the source addresses for movies/tv shows I ended up with duplicates of everything. Clean library wouldn’t resolve it. Removing and readding source still had duplicates.

In the midst of trying to sort this out - I now have the aforementioned crash cycle.

Any pointers really appreciated - kids are desperate to watch Star Wars!

Your machine is still on the 2020.01 release, so due for an update.

From the command line:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

If all seems to go well, reboot.

With luck the problem will have been fixed. If not, you’ll be looking at a reinstall, I’m afraid.

He could move his Kodi userdata as well and see if that makes a difference
