Sadface when trying to play h265 mkv file

Hi,

After a few hours, still haven’t found a solution on here so here’s the problem: I keep getting a sadface when trying to open a h265 mkv (or mp4) file. Running 2017.02-2 on a RPi3. File (test8.mkv) and debug info:

You’ve borked your gpu_mem split.

gpu_mem_1024=256
gpu_mem_512=144
gpu_mem_256=112

Are the appropriate settings in config.txt. I suspect you may have gotten here using raspi-config. You should be more cautious with that tool.

I think that arm_freq and core_freq are also non-standard. It should be 1200 and 400 on pi3, afaik.

Thank you both for the help - works now! Not sure how those got changed though - it took me 20mins to figure out how to change them back :-/

Yep, you are right. Pi 3 should just be set to normal in myosmc over clock settings. Reboot required™
