hi all, I have been playing around to get my own shortcuts on OSMC skin’s Home Menu, but with no luck, no changes after I came back to Home Menu, tried reboot, but nothing works. has anyone got it to work. Thx
Hi, same problem here.
Also nothing happens when I press a video add-on from the Videos menu. I have to first press VIDEOS then go down to Video Add-ons and from there I can start all the add-ons.
Thanks and have a good day!
Do you click ‘OK’ after making the changes?
If so, do you see the Skin Shortcuts notification telling you it’s building the new menus?
Yes, I can see that but it disapear after a while and nothing happens, no changes whatsoever. Also have got the same issue as described by Danserminator. Thanks for your interest
This seems to be a permission problem.
Try to run the following (via SSH), reboot and report back:
sudo chown -R osmc:osmc /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.osmc
If you still have some issue, try the following and reboot:
sudo chown -R osmc:osmc /usr/share/kodi/addons/script.skinshortcuts
thx @miappa ssh command fix the issue with home menu, but still cannot enter video addons from Video Menu.
I stick myself with xperience1080 skin for now.
Can we get a debug log of this please?
Can you post a debug log and/or the script-skinshortcuts-includes.xml in the skin folder?
I’m also still having this problem? (In Videos menu, first click, scroll down to Addons)
