Hi there. I am wondering if there is a way to set video streaming from internet sources to 240p. If I watch youtube videos on my desktop I can watch with no issues at 240. Anyway to alter a config file or something. I’ve played around with video settings in OSMC to no avail. There must be something I can do.
You can not configure it globally but e.g. for youtube just go to the youtube addon and choose configure and there you have a “Video Quality” option. You even can choose to be asked for quality every time.
Thanks. That worked for Youtube. I just wish the other plugins I have (CBC, CBS, DIY Network, Etc.) allowed you to change resolution to a lower setting. A lot of them had the options of HD or SD. If i understand correctly SD is 720p? That will work for me occasionally but its spotty.
