I can’t stop noticing a huge difference in the loading time for menu’s in add-ons between my macOS Kodi.app and OSMC on both Vero 4K and Vero 4K+. Both macOS and the OSMC Kodi clients are running the latest Leia 18.7.
Examples:
I’m experiencing this across the board on all add-ons that load internet content.
We are talking seconds difference, OSMC being a factor 5 x slower.
All clients are using the same high speed network (GB LAN, 500Mb WAN).
Can this difference be explained or does it need looking into?

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

reproduce the issue

upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A
