It seems like every now and then, maybe once every other day, though I haven’t disconnected my ethernet cable or power cable, my OSMC install on rpi2 simply won’t connect to my SMB shares I have set up as Video folders. It’s frustrating because it causes me to have to reboot. My external HDD is always ok, but there’s always something I have on my computer I haven’t transferred to the external HDD yet that is attached to my rpi2.
Am I doing this effectively anyway? Is there something better than SMB share for the files on my tower that are on the home network?
