I noticed in the latest release notes that “OpenVPN initial support” was added. What exactly this mean? I couldn’t find any related settings or menu items.
That openvpn is installed by default for a future integration into OSMC GUI.
As of now no GUI/Menu for it exists so you either need to run it from command line or install one of the Kodi VPN addons.
This will be a nice addition to osmc. One older topic I had some time ago was OpenVPN connection pased through to the tethered devices, in my case WiFi to Ethernet.
At that time Sam said that ConnMan was not aware of OpenVPN, a bug in ConnMan.
Was this fixed with Stretch?
