Also, if anyone has a spare Raspberry Pi 4 they want to donate, please holler. I’ve managed to fry mine while testing different media
Accidentally plugged in 12V PSU (instead of 5V) into the external BD drive, while it was connected to the Pi. Funny enough, it didn’t damage the drive but I think 12V “leaked” into the Pi through USB power and fried it.
@sam_nazarko I was thinking of adding run-as option for the on-add, on-change and on-remove actions. I don’t necessarily need it for may project, but I’ve noticed that the udisks-glue script runs with osmc:osmc credentials. Would it be useful?
Indeed. I’d like to rewrite the build system when there is a free moment (that’s not often here) and would look at using CMake for dependency handling.
I can see what I have around
Do you have any other OSMC device?
No worries. Lemme know if you need anything from me.
I do have Vero V that I bought last year. I was just doing all my testing on a Pi with a clean image to make sure my results are reproducible. Plus I didn’t want to mess up my setup.
