I just went to MyOSMC to check for updates (currently on 2018.12-1) and it said updates are available and ready to install. I proceeded with the update/install but I don’t think it’s actually done anything? Loaded Kodi screen again, checked for updates and none are available. Still on the same version. Tried rebooting but made no difference.

I haven’t released any updates yet.
Try again in a couple of hours when there’s an announcement on the blog.
Strange. What was it “updating” then?
Probably Debian (upstream) packages; or your device wasn’t already up to date.

It’s set to download and notify automatically, and I’ve been checking regularly manually too so I don’t think that was the case. I assumed the “available update” just mentioned was today’s anticipated update. Looking forward to it anyway!
