Glad you got it figured out. And I second the use of filebot.
So are you saying if i have a file named Scorpion/Scorpion.E37.ts that I can configure filebot to rename that file to Scorpion/Scorpion.s02e15.ts and it gets the season and relative episode number from tvdb.org and the original absolute episode number of 37 found in the original file name?
The problem i’m having is TVheadend creates the first file name and even though i’ve configured TVDB addon to use absolute episode numbers, it still doesn’t scrape any metadata until i name the file with the season and relative episode info.
Also, did you build filebot locally or did you find a Kodi app/addon?
