I am very new to the Raspberry Pi. I am unable to add a zip file from an unknown source. I have enabled it in settings and I am connected to the internet. I’m able to add Kodi addons from the repository but when I put in a url (exactly as instructed) and go to the Install from zip file, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running OSMC.

Somehow you have not provided useful logs. Did you follow the links instructions explicitly?
