Unsafe Storage Device Removal of HFS+ Partition

Hi.

I was trying to unplug a USB drive (formatted in HFS+). I went to Videos -> File -> name of drive. Then I pressed the hamburger button on the remote. Then I selected “safely remove” and waited for the drive’s name to disappear. When I disconnected the drive, I saw a message on the upper right corner of the screen that says “Unsafe Storage Device Removal”.

It shouldn’t be a problem because it’s only mounted as read-only right?

It should be OK as it’s RO, but avoid HFs+ if possible. It’s not very reliable under Linux.

Thanks, Sam. Very fast response as usual
