Unable to update the video library. Before the update, i used to select left a couple of times when inside the TV Shows or Movies screen. Now, pressing left does not seems to do anything. Is this changed?
Also, what’s the easiest way to scan and clean the library (eg, immediately after adding some videos).
I don’t think this has changed.
You could use Keymap Editor add on to map a key to UpdateLibrary and CleanLibrary. Or use Library Watchdog: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Library_watchdog
I just use library auto update, running every 2 hours: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:XBMC_Library_Auto_Update
@kenpholloway are you getting the list options when you press left (using YATSE/ Chorus Web etc). There used to be a menu for hiding watched shows/ updating library etc. That i dont see now when i click left button on the YATSE/ Chorus remotes.
Try this. Select Movies>…>…>press Left
This is an issue that will be worked out as development of the skin progresses.
Thanks @ActionA, i’m not sure what the issue was, maybe some settings. I reset all the OSMC skin settings, it’s working now.
Alternatively you can create a submenu shortcut.
Settings>Appearance>Skin Settings>Customize Home Menu>
Select which submenu you would like to see this under, Movies, TVshows or Videos would be my suggestion.
Select Customize Submenu
Set Label to whatever you desire, I called mine Update.
Set Custom action to UpdateLibrary(video)
