To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

That’s the problem: bluez ir incompatible with armv7-bluez-osmc. Do you know why bluez is installed? (Logs might give a clue.)

no clue why it’s installed !
is it not a stock package that come with osmc ?

As I said, logs might give a clue.

my current log file now is 500k size and i couldn’t post it here

how to clear the log file and rgenerate a new one ?

okay i made one

I’m not sure what you posted but pastebin warned me that it might contain offensive content. And I couldn’t read it, which might actually be fortunate.

Please run grab-logs -A and post the URL.

i did that command and it told me couldn’t upload the log, and he put it in /boot instead. so i grabbed the log file and paste it into pastebin " which is a website that shares txt files"

Did you rebooted twice before?

Pastebin now tells me it’s a “private paste”.

As fzinken already said, reboot twice then run grab-logs -A and provide the URL. Please don’t post an image of the log.

bluez is being installed as a dependency of the bluetooth package, which you installed on 2020-11-10. As a result of the failed dependency, the bluetooth package is in an unfinished state.

There is one other package, libapt-pkg5.0, that is also in an unfinished state and two others, dbus and libc-bin, that are in a “triggers pending” state. Perhaps they’ll resolve themselves when you remove bluetooth:

sudo apt-get purge bluetooth

maybe retropie setup script installed it? because i’m installing retropie on my setup!
anyways i have removed that packege and i think it has also removed the tow other packages.
let’s call the update again and see ( i hope it’s not a distro upgrade to buster) because i think retropie will stop from working on osmc (buster). i already tried a manual distro update

You are already on buster
