Upgrade frozen

Hi,

When upgrading I get this:

Preparing to unpack …/rbp2-image-4.4.16-1-osmc_1_armhf.deb …
Examining /etc/kernel/preinst.d/
run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/preinst.d/001-preprocess-rbp 4.4.16-1-osmc /boot/vmlinuz-4.4.16-1-osmc
Done.
Unpacking rbp2-image-4.4.16-1-osmc (1) over (1) …

Progress: [ 1%] [##…

And it hangs there…

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

dg

Did you wait a while? A kernel upgrade can take 30 minutes on bad SD cards.

Also try running it through the official update method (My OSMC)

I did use the official update method it gives some error on the screen “delayed block allocation failed for inode” and “This should not happen!! Data will be lost”. Fortunately nothing is lost. I just unplug the Pi2 and when power is back it will boot and work. I assume it is the SD card that is corrupt. I have a backup so, I will attempt to re-image after I will try FSCK first. Also, on a side not I noticed that there is no repo for Fedora 24.

Thank you,

I did use another SD card, restored latest backup. Everything is fine.

Thank you,
