Hi,
I thinking about buying a Vero 4K+ as a replacement for my RPi2. How can I smoothly upgrade my installation (which of course includes Kodi, but also for example PiHole and syncthing) to the Vero 4K+?
Thanks, Ernst

Kodi can be backed up easily by taking a backup via My OSMC.
Applications like PiHole and SyncThing would need to be re-installed again, but you could copy the directories containing any settings over.
Ok thanks! Why do I need a new install for those applications? Both RPi2 and Vero are ARM, right?
Yes – they are both armhf. If you are comfortable with copying over the binaries and user data directories, that’s fine – but the whole OS itself cannot be cloned from SD to eMMC.
Hopefully that makes sense
