Is it possible to upgrade from Raspbmc to OSMC and keep all the same settings, or is it best just to do a clean install and start again?

I’m sure this has been answered before.
NO - it’s like asking if you can upgrade from ubuntu to fedora, as the start point is different.

So what’s the best thing to do for existing Raspbmc users?
Just start afresh?
